This course introduces students to the fundamentals of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, taking them from basic electronic circuit concepts to designing their own functional circuit boards. Students will learn how electronic components are arranged, connected, and routed on a PCB while exploring practical design techniques and industry-style workflows.
Students will gain hands-on experience with schematic design, component selection, circuit connections, PCB layout, track routing, design rules, and preparing boards for manufacturing. The course is designed to build practical electronics and engineering skills through real-world projects.
By the end of the course, students will be able to design and organize a basic PCB and understand the complete process from circuit idea → schematic → PCB layout → routing → final board design.
