Language Translator App with MIT App Inventor

In this practical project, students learn how to build a simple Language Translator App using MIT App Inventor. The project introduces students to mobile app development through a visual, block-based programming environment, making it suitable for beginners.

Students will design the app interface, create language selection options, accept text input from users, and connect the application to translation functionality. They will also learn how to use buttons, text boxes, labels, dropdowns, events, and blocks to make the application interactive.

Through this project, students gain hands-on experience with MIT App Inventor, user interface design, block-based programming, events, user input, and translation services/API concepts while developing a useful real-world mobile application.

By the end of the project, students will have created a functional translator app that demonstrates how simple programming concepts can be combined to solve a real-world communication problem.
